• Scan data: email addresses you submit for scanning, scan results (links found, exposure reports)
• Decoy data: URLs of decoy pages we create for you
• Technical data: IP address, session identifiers, login attempts (for security)

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide identity exposure scanning (we search public sources for your email/name)
• To generate exposure reports and decoy content (biographies) using local AI (Ollama)
• To manage your account and sessions
• To prevent abuse (rate limiting, login attempts)

3. Transparency & Identity Shielding

We are transparent about our methods: we use public search engines (Google, DuckDuckGo) and free tools. We do not use paid breach APIs. Our decoy ("Ghost Nodes") feature creates public pages to dilute real identity exposure in search results. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

4. Data Storage

Data is stored on our servers and in a MySQL database. Scan results and decoy URLs are associated with your account. We retain data as long as your account is active.

5. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data. Contact us at the email provided on the site. For EU users, GDPR rights apply.

6. Cookies & Sessions

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies.
